Change of Fate Rescue is a rescue organization for sled dog breeds, such as Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies. Change of Fate is dedicated to finding forever homes for these animals which have been turned away from their homes for one reason or another. Change of Fate Rescue would like to thank you for taking the time to fill out this application and for your interest in helping us give these dogs a better home. 

In addition, any dog that is being fostered needs time to adjust to its new home environment and will require patience as they adjust. Odd adjustment behaivor could include not eating, having accidents inside, or trying to figure out his/her place in the existing hierarchy of dogs. If accepted, please contact us with any issues you may find.

 

Change of Fate Rescue Rules and Requirements for dog fostering:

 

  • All applicants for fostering animals for Change of Fate Rescue have a minimum required age of 18.

  • Change of Fate Rescue shall provide all obtainable information regarding health problems or special needs previous to placing any of our animals in foster care.

  • Change of Fate Rescue shall set and approve all veterinary services and appointments for the fostered animal. In emergency situation's any approved foster agrees to contact Change of Fate Rescue immediately.

  • Change of Fate Rescue is not responsible for any injury sustained to our animals while under foster care. Any preventable injury shall be paid for in full by the foster per this agreement. 

  • Change of Fate Rescue requires notification of any behavioral issues noticed during fostering. Change of Fate Rescue shall be notified of any dog bite received while fostering one of our animals.
